Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes maintenance repairs on ten (10) different bridges at six locations along Interstate (I) 5, between post miles R19.58 and R23.93, in San Joaquin County. The scope of work at these bridges includes deck resurfacing, replacing joint seals, bridge approach overlay, patching spalls, rail repairs, and/or sidewalk repairs. All work will occur within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to provide preventative maintenance to deteriorating sections of these bridges. The project is needed to minimize future rehabilitation needs and maintain the bridge functionality.
