Document Description
The City of Community Services Department will construct a cultural viewing and seating area overlooking the Sacramento River. The project is needed as this location is culturally significant to the native community and there are no other viewing areas in which to take in the beauty and history of this site. The project includes the installation of overhead shelters, benches, pavers, trash receptacles, interpretive panels, wayfinding signage, a bicycle rack, and planting of trees and native vegetation. Construction will involve earthwork, grading, trenching, and concrete work. All work will occur on City property and within the City Right of way.
