Document Description
The project consists of transitioning the Phase 1 interim housing into 87 units of permanent supportive housing units for homeless individuals and two manager’s units as part of the California Department of Housing and Community Development Project Homekey Program Round 2 funds. The proposed improvements include rehabilitation of the existing structures, addition of a new elevator, conversion of existing motel rooms into a new community room, exterior façade improvements, and a new enhanced courtyard amenity space. Chapter 6.7. Multifamily Housing Program [50675 – 50675.15] of the Health and Safety Code is applicable to projects funded by the Homekey Program Round 2 funds.
