Document Description
The goal of this project grant is to design, assemble, and commission a low-rate initial production manufacturing line to manufacture the company's new class of advanced conductor, the Covered Smart Conductor. The proposed activities will validate the capability of producing up to 2,300 miles of Covered Smart Conductor per year, while lowering production costs by approximately 50 percent.
