Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SBA-44850-R5), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Golden State Water Company.
Golden State Water Company proposes to install and operate two new 1-million-gallon water storage tanks along Orcutt Hill Road. In order to connect these tanks to the existing water distribution system along East Rice Ranch Road, Golden State Water Company will need to install a new 1.3-mile-long water pipeline along Orcutt Hill Road to East Rice Ranch Road. Following along Orcutt Hill Road, the alignment of the new water pipeline will cross three culverted streams along its route. The three culverted streams known as culverts 2, 4, and 5. Installment of culvert 2 will displace 11 square feet of soil, installment of culvert 4 will displace 21 square feet of soil, and culvert 5 will displace 14 square feet of soil. All three projects will take place within the paved area of Orcutt Hill Road; therefore, no vegetation will be impacted.
