Document Description
On October 27, 2022, CDFW staff identified two (2) unauthorized stream-crossings on the subject property. Staff determined the crossings were improperly constructed, installed without permits, and deemed them in violation of FGC Section 1602. To resolve these violations, the Permittee shall perform two (2) encroachments for the removal of the crossing infrastructure and remediation of the stream channels. Work for these encroachments will include excavation down to the original channel, removal of the culverts and fill prism, recontouring and stabilizing the stream banks, applying erosion control, revegetating disturbed soils, and rockarmoring (including the recently excavated inboard ditch) as necessary to minimize erosion. Work shall be conducted during a period of dry-weather when impacts to project-area soils can be minimized. In the interim, the Permittee shall winterize the work area and commit to monitoring and performing ad hoc erosion-control during the intervening wet-season.
