Reasons for Exemption
The project is exempt under Historical Resource Restoration/Rehabilitation 15331(c). As a historic property on the National Register of Historic Places, rehabilitation of the building will comply with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties with Guidelines for Rehabilitation (36 Code of Federal Regulations 67) and the State Historical Building Code. The project does not have potential for a significant effect on the environment, nor does the project result in an exception to the exemption (pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2).
