The originally approved project consists of: a well pad, a geothermal well, a pipeline that would connect the geothermal well to the existing geothermal power plant, and an access road to the well pad as well as an access road generally along the pipeline extent. The project is located on property consisting of 467 acres on Assessor’s Parcel Number 020-010-035. The Imperial County Planning and Development Services, as Lead Agency, prepared and approved a Mitigated Negative Declaration in May 2023. The California Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) considered the MND prepared by the Lead Agency and issued a Permit to Conduct Well Operations for one well. CalGEM has approved permits for Hudson Ranch Power I LLC to install the geothermal well listed below, in the Salton Sea geothermal field. API# Well Name 02591530 13-4
