Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
15301, Class 1 Existing Facilities
Reasons for Exemption
The owner owns a 4.05 Acre Lot with their current office and storage area. Half of the lot is vacant and the proposal is to expand their parking and storage area to the vacant portion of the lot. This is consistent with Class One which allows for the negligible expansion of existing facilities. The grading, paving, fencing, and landscaping of the area to create an outdoor storage area will have no possible noise, biological, traffic, or air quality issues. Since the property was once tribal land a Cultural Resources Study was done and determined that there was no impacts. This proposal meets all the requirements of an expansion to an existing facility.
