Document Description
The project is limited to performing corrective actions on an unauthorized culvert crossing and restoration activities. Project activities will occur within and adjacent to an ephemeral, unnamed tributary to Wyandotte Creek. The crossing was installed prior to the issuance of the Agreement and consists of three, 30-foot long, 24-inch culverts and a 8-foot wide and 3-foot deep excavated pit at the culverts’ inlet. Activities authorized by this Agreement include stabilizing the culverts’ outlet, restoring the excavated inlet pit to its natural grade, restoring areas surrounding the inlet to their pre-project gradients, and restoration plantings. Re-establishment of the culvert inlet and surrounding areas shall be performed to restore the site hydrology and prevent a reduction in downstream flows due to impoundment. Additional excavation of material shall not occur within the bed, bank, or channel of the unnamed drainage beyond the reestablishment of the natural grade. Restoration plantings shall be planted along the unnamed tributary consistent with the measures of the Agreement.
