Document Description
The 0.21-acre Project consisted of replacing existing culverts that have failed along State Route (SR) 26 at four locations. On January 16, 2023, a high intensity rainstorm passed through Valley Springs, in Calaveras County. Excessive runoff from the watershed overwhelmed four culvert systems. The excessive pressure in the culverts caused pipe joints to fail under the roadway.
