The project is to replace dated and non-operational water meters within 18 different CSAs and 5 VVWDs. The Department has identified a total of 3,639 meters to be updated or replaced with new meters. Meter replacement will occur if a meter has been damaged, cannot provide a proper reading, is leaking, or has reached its useful life expectancy. The proposed project would not add new services and only provide updates to existing services.
