Non-profit Zero Foodprint will implement 15-25 agricultural soil carbon sequestration projects, and sustainably increase soil carbon sequestration in California by developing ongoing regional funding mechanisms, and by helping establish and advance relevant local ordinances and policies. Soil carbon sequestration projects will take place via subgrants to ranchers on private lands to be determined via a quantitative project selection process.
