Document Description
SJFD staff plans to repair erosions within pool 1 of the Coastal Branch. To do this, a dump truck will be used to haul in fill material. A backhoe will be used to compact erosions. If the backhoe cannot reach an erosion, a 1 inch thick metal plate will be placed over the v-ditch to gain more access. If the erosion can still not be reached, the rest of the erosion will be worked on using hand tools. A hopper and boom truck will be used to fill in any erosion out of reach of the backhoe. A whacker packer might also be used to aid in compaction. All staging will take place on paved or graveled surfaces. All work will take place within DWR right-of-way. This work is necessary to maintain the structural integrity of the access roads.
