The project is a general update of Title 17, Zoning, of the Dunsmuir Municipal Code to eliminate constraints to the maintenance, improvement, and development of housing pursuant to Government Code Section 65583(c)(3); implement the City’s General Plan Land Use Element (2006); incorporate changes to state law and reflect recent case law; better define land uses and improve usability; address nonconformities; and improve imperfect code amendments and correct map errors. The project includes an associated amendment of the General Plan Land Use Element.
