arious locations on U.S. Highway 101 in Humboldt County between Post Miles 56.60 and 137.10. Eleven Traffic Management System elements will be upgraded or repaired within the project boundaries. The Culvert Inspection Program identified the project’s drainage systems as needing repair and replacement, and/or not meeting capacity standards. The project is needed to repair failed and deteriorated drainage systems to prevent potential roadway damage resulting from drainage system failures. Traffic Management System repairs and upgrades include updating with new models on existing posts, replacing existing electrical service pedestals and cabinets with new models, and replacing antennas and other electrical equipment.
