Document Description
Kanapy, Inc. is seeking discretionary approval for a total of 29,498 square feet (sq. ft.) of canopy area and a total of 79,500 sq. ft. of cultivation area at 1010 Argonaut Road, Lakeport (APN 008-033-61), as follows: (1) A-Type 3B: "mixed light" license; (3) A-Type 1C: "Specialty Cottage" license; (1) A-Type 13 Self Distribution license; The A-Type 3B “mixed light” license and the A-Type 1C “Specialty Cottage” licenses will occur within (19) 30’ x 100’ greenhouses each being 15’ tall. The project also proposes: (1) One 30’ x 100’ processing facility with ADA-compliant restroom that will apply through a building permit for a septic; (2) Two 30’ x 75’ processing facilities; (8) Eight 2,500-gallon water tanks, one being steel or fiberglass for fire suppression; (1) One 20’-wide access driveway from Argonaut Way; (4) Four employee parking spaces, including one (1) ADA-compliant parking space; A loading zone, perimeter fence and security cameras, and the use of an existing on-site agricultural well. The public review period for the respective proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration based on Initial Study IS 20-98 will begin on March 29, 2022 and end on April 28, 2022. You are encouraged to submit written comments regarding the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration. You may do so by submitting written comments to the Planning Division prior to the end of the review period. Copies of the application, environmental documents, and all reference documents associated with the project are available for review through the Community Development Department, Planning Division; telephone (707) 263-2221 and the State Clearinghouse.
