Document Description
The purpose of this project is to utilize an existing concrete pad to provide space for a residential trailer at Point Los Ranch State Park (Ishxenta State Park) to provide housing for a state park employee. Work will: • Excavate trenches, as necessary, to extend nearby sewer, water, and electrical services from an adjacent existing residence; • Construct a redwood privacy fence to match existing residential fences in the park; and • Restore an historic shed which will be shared by the new and existing residence. The trailer will be provided by the resident and will be removed upon vacancy of the site. No additional new facilities will be built.

Project consists of the operation or minor alteration of existing public or private or public structures involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond current levels; construction and location of limited numbers of new small facilities included as “Construction or installation of park facilities, such as fencing and gates” in the Department of Parks and Recreation’s list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR § 15300.4; and minor public alterations in the condition of land and vegetation which do not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
