Document Description
The Monterey City Water Department proposes to operate an existing groundwater treatment system to remove volatile organic compounds, 1,4-dioxane, and PFAS from Wells 5, 9, 12, and 15. The existing air stripper will be decommissioned, existing ion exchange vessels re-purposed to Liquefied Granular Activated Carbon (LGAC). Includes three trains of three UV reactors, hydrogen peroxide dosing tank, equipment, one vessel, and Well 5 pipe rehabilitation.
