Document Description
DWR staff will re-shape and clear an area of erosion along a v-ditch southeast of Patterson Reservoir, adjacent to the access road. A grader will be used to push rock out of the v-ditch and back up the slope. If needed, staff will also use a water truck to flush out sediment that is clogging the culvert at the southern end of the v-ditch. The area of erosion along the v-ditch is approximately 206-feet long by 10- feet wide. All equipment and work are within the DWR right of way.

Reasons for Exemption
The State Water Project provides significant and critical services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities to prevent further erosion damage to SWP facilities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. The Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance as this activity will be implemented without any environmental impacts.
