Document Description
The California Department of Transportation proposes an emergency roadway project to repair spalled pavement on bridge decks and approach slabs on Northbound and Southbound Interstate-5, postmile 26.5 to 26.9, in San Joaquin County. The scope of work includes, removing all loose and unsuitable material from the bridge deck, repair bridge deck with an approved rapid setting concrete, place methacrylate on bridge deck and replace traffic striping. The purpose of this project is to correct the failure of bridge decks and approach slabs. The project is needed to prevent or mitigate the loss or impairment of life, health and property to essential public services.
