Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to replace the deteriorating Bridge 59.48 in order to meet UPRR safety and design standards and to comply with Federal Railroad Administration regulations. The Project consists of replacing the existing one-span, 14-foot-long dual-track timber stringer trestle – ballast deck bridge at milepost 59.48 with two corrugated metal pipe (CMP) and one smooth steel pipe (SSP) culverts. The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board has issued a Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the project impacts to waters of the state.
