The Visalia Citrus Packing Group - Orange Cove (Water System) installed a centralized reverse osmosis treatment to remove nitrate from the water from Wells 01 and 02. The Water System's wells produce water with concentrations of nitrate above the maximum contaminant level. The Water System was issued a Compliance Order by the SWRCB-DDW to find a solution to the issue. An ultra-violate (UV) treatment unit was added for disinfection.
