Document Description
Pacific Power is proposing to perform maintenance activities along an existing distribution line in the State Route 96 right-of-way (ROW) between 41.18 and 41.78 in Siskiyou County. Maintenance activities include overhead reconductoring at five highway crossing locations, relocation of three existing utility poles, replacement of seven structures, installation of two structures (support poles), and the addition/removal and/or replacement of anchors and guy wires. The purpose of the project is to maintain public safety and provide reliable services to area customers. To facilitate maintenance activities, traffic control would be performed during the proposed work. Caltrans would issue an encroachment permit to allow for the proposed work to occur within State right-of-way.
