Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the CEQA Guidelines pursuant to the Provisions of Title 14 of the California Administrative Code, Section 15301 (Existing Facilities), which provides for the operation and permitting of existing private facilities involving negligible expansion of existing use. Proposed use of the existing agricultural facility for hosting seven promotional events with up to 150 guests per year is determined a negligible expansion of use based on the supporting technical materials included with the application, including a noise management plan, and submitted studies for evaluating potential impacts related to noise, traffic, and water use demand.
No exceptions listed under Section 15300.2 apply. There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment.
