Document Description
Bolsa Chica State Beach experienced damage caused by king tides and severe storms during January 2023. Storm surges flooded portions of an asphalt maintenance road adjacent to SR-1. The damaged sections can be saw-cut open to remove debris, and re-constructed based on original design. Based on site observations, the entire stretch of the service road should be re-surfaced with slurry to seal the joint between the asphalt and the curb.
