Document Description
Cornerstone Engineering Inc. on behalf of Grupe Property Management Inc. is proposing a Multi-family gated apartment complex on 19.96 acres located at the southwest corner of Berkshire Road and Ashe Road. The request includes three components: 1. General Plan Amendment (GPA) of the land use element of the Metropolitan Bakersfield General Plan( General Plan) from HMR (High Medium Density Residential) to HR (High Density Residential) on 19.96 acres; 2. Zone Change (ZC) from an R-2 (Limited Multiple-Family Residential) to R-3/PUD (Multiple-Family Residential/Planned Unit Development) on 19.96 acres and; 3. Planned Unit Development consisting of a multi-family gated apartment complex with the R-3 PUD Zone Classification. The Project would be the development multiple three-story apartment buildings with dwelling ranging for 1 to 3 bedroom apartments totaling 328,890 square feet. Alon with parking and improvements, the project will include four amenity buildings totaling 8,235 square feet.
