Document Description
Pacific Power is proposing to perform maintenance activities along an existing 12.47 kilovolt distribution line in the Interstate 5 and State Route 89 rights-of-way (ROW) at R8.305 and R34.494, respectively, in Siskiyou County. Maintenance activities include: conductor replacement, replacement of two existing poles, installation of new anchors and guy wires, and updating system protection and other equipment as needed. The purpose of the project is to maintain public safety and provide reliable electric services to area customers. To facilitate maintenance activities, traffic control would be performed during the proposed work. Caltrans would issue an encroachment permit to allow for the proposed work to occur within State right-of-way.
