Document Description
The proposed project is located at the Lemos Lane crossing of Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District: Zone 6 Line L (Mission Creek) in the City of Fremont. The project would install two additional 12’ wide by 8’ high concrete box culverts beneath the roadway on the north east side of the existing box culvert; reconstruct the headwalls and wing-walls including excavating the existing slope on the upstream side of the channel to accommodate the new wing-wall; remove existing 20 inch and 12 inch trees that are in conflict with the proposed improvements and plant six new trees as replacements along Mission Creek downstream of Lemos Lane; and implement Best Management Practices (BMP’s). The purpose of the project would be to provide 100 year flood protection to neighboring communities and to remove any hydraulic constriction in the current crossing.
