The project is the execution of a multi-year water delivery agreement between the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and the Department of Water Resources. Annually through By December 31, 2042, up to 100,000 acre-feet of water would could be delivered from Diamond Valley Lake to Mills Water Treatment Plant using the agencies' existing water conveyance and distribution systems.
(e.g., Inland Feeder, Lakeview Pipeline, Perris Bypass, Santa Ana Valley Pipeline, and Box Springs Feeder).
