Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to immediately repair damages due to heavy rains which caused damages to slope and structural sections along State Route (SR) 140 at postmile 35.0, in Mariposa County. The scope of work includes removing unsuitable material, stabilizing slopes, replacing structural section and placing permanent erosion control. All proposed work will be on Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to repair the failed State Route. The project is needed to prevent or mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property or essential public services.
