Document Description
CDCR will construct two new water storage tanks within the Folsom State Prison (FSP) property. Each tank will be a 750,000-gallon welded steel tank with concrete spread footing. These tanks will increase fire water storage capacity and must meet emergency and domestic water usage requirements, maintain operational storage volumes and fire flow as required by the 2016 California Fire Code. In addition, fire water pump station equipment could be skit-mounted and installed on a slab foundation and self-contained within an integrated skid-mounted water enclosure. The water tanks will be adjusted and coupled with existing water storage tanks that serve FSP and California State Prison - Sacramento (SAC).
