Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-32996-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Tyler Nelson, representing Nelson Family Vineyards. This Agreement relies on the Notification materials and a CDFW site visit on September 14, 2022. The project is limited to one (1) encroachment, the removal of debris (concrete and piers, masonry brick, scrap wood, discarded soil, fill and other deposited material), and implementation of an erosion and sediment control plan at the Project Location. Work is to remove debris and fill from an approximate 140-ft linear reach of an unnamed tributary to Shields Creek, and to implement stabilization of the stream bed and banks with native seed mix and straw mulch, as well as any additional erosion control measures per the Erosion and Sediment Control Plan. Waste from the site may be temporarily held in at the flat area northeast of the intersection of Nelson Ranch Road and Highway 101, before transport and disposal at a licensed recycling or waste collection facility. Any clean native soil or fill material may be disposed on the property at a location where it may not enter the stream.
