Document Description
Rehabilitate 81 acres of the Craig Access Road and Craig Saddle Boat-in Campground within the Lake Oroville State Recreation Area, damaged in the 2019 North Complex Fire, to enable public access and use. Work will: • Remove dead/burnt trees along 2.3 miles of the Craig Access Road; • Dispose of material via: chipping, lop and scatter, pile burning, air curtain burner, hauling offsite; • To restore 7.7 acres of the Craig Saddle Boat-in Campground: o Remove dead and burned trees and thin regrowth; o Use augers to create waterwells to facilitate the replanting up to 500 native trees, shrubs and grasses along with drip irrigation. • Conduct Early Detection and Rapid Response surveys to map invasive plant species and treat them via hand pulling and/or herbicides including but not limited to: Round Up Pro Concentrate, Garlon 4 Ultra, Milestone VMP, RoundUp Custom, AquaMaster, Telar, and Agridex.
