Document Description
The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) is proposing to relocate five below-ground piezometers (200a, P-200b, P-203, P-204a, and P-204b) at the Oroville Toe Dam to above-ground locations. The piezometers are outfitted with Vibrating Wire Piezometers (VWP), dataloggers, and are networked on a telemetry system. The piezometers are currently located in sub-grate vaults and have failed twice due to condensation. Relocating the piezometers to above-ground poles will eliminate this issue.
