Document Description
This project involves the removal of up to 15 Grey Pines (Pinus sabiniana) along the edge of an existing parking area for the previous Rose Bar School site. The site has been left unattended for several years and has become overgrown. The Smartsville Fire Protection District has purchased the site. The project will remove those trees that are encroaching on the existing parking areas. No ground disturbance will occur during this project.

Reasons for Exemption
Project qualifies under both Minor Alterations to Land and Accessory Structures. There will be no ground disturbance and the parking area will have fewer than 50 parking spots. This is an existing parking lot that is being encroached upon by several Grey Pines. These pines are projecting out into the parking area and could also threaten adjacent power lines. All vegetation to be removed is also within 100’ of structures.
