Document Description
Project consists of the rehabilitation of a building known as the “A-frame” at Marconi Conference Center State Park in Marin County to preserve this historic feature and ensure its availability for use. Work will:
? Remove the existing roofing material;
? Inspect the underlying roof decking for any defects and, if needed, replace with in-kind materials;
? Install CeDUR, a synthetic shake product molded to look like natural cedar shakes but with increased longevity and fire resistance; and
? Remove the existing sliding glass doors and replace with new, insulated and fire-resistant, in-kind doors.
All work will be consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties – Rehabilitation.
