The proposed project is Categorically Exempt from environmental proceedings pursuant to Sections 15301, Existing Facilities and 15303, New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures, of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines, which exempts minor alterations to existing structures that result in a negligible expansion of use and the construction of small accessory structures. The project is exempt because it consists of the installation of new equipment on an existing major wireless telecommunications facility and the construction of a new 60 square foot equipment enclosure, which will result in a negligible expansion of use.
