Document Description
Caltrans District 9 is proposing a project to replace and rehabilitate existing traffic signal cabinets in Kern and Inyo counties. The existing controller cabinets and service equipment enclosures have reached the end of their life cycle and are in critical need of replacement to maintain and upkeep operations at signalized intersections at various locations. Some cabinets have also been vandalized. The project will replace existing signal cabinets and install new controller cabinets and service equipment enclosures. All cabinet locations are located on pavement within the existing State right-of-way and will be replaced in the same locations as they are now.
