Document Description
This project is located at Santa Cruz Undercrossing (Bridge #37-0124L) and Main Street Overcrossing (Bridge #37-0117) on Santa Clara State Route 17 (SR 17) at PM 6.16 and PM 6.55 respectively. The purpose of this project is to upgrade the bridge rails to meet current crash and safety standards to protect the traveling public and enhance bridge rail reliability. The project is needed because the bridge barrier railings of both structures are currently rated POOR in the asset management survey and subject to deterioration unless replaced.
