Document Description
The Project is limited to the construction of a temporary sand berm in May and subsequent removal of the sand berm in the fall of each year on Soquel Creek Lagoon. When the sandbar is fully formed, the creek reaches the ocean by passing through a concrete flume supported by pilings. The outlet of the flume is managed with flashboards to regulate the amount of outflow, prevent saltwater intrusion, and maintain lagoon water levels.
