Document Description
The 770-acre Project consists of constructing a new water conveyance tunnel with intake structure and gates, and modifying the boat ramps at Goodwin Dam Reservoir. The Project will improve the long-term reliability of the Permittee’s critical water supply system through the new water conveyance tunnel to bypass the approximately 12,000 lineal feet of existing canals and tunnels referred to as the Joint Supply Canal (JSC). The Project will provide increased water supply reliability, reduce the need for supplemental groundwater use, reduce rockfall hazard impacts to critical infrastructure, and provide safer working conditions for facilities maintenance personnel.
