Document Description
This enhancement project, funded by Clean California, will provide decorative pavement delineation, a special crosswalk design near the elementary school, gateway signs for the town of Orleans and decorative lighting at various locations along the highway shoulders through the town. It is expected to utilize a variety of light equipment including paint grinders to remove existing delineation, hole augers for the placement of the signs and light poles, light crane hoists, and miscellaneous hand tools. Night construction lighting is not necessary. Construction may require limited traffic control during operations but will not result in appreciably more traffic on the highway than normal.
