Document Description
The Project will install 33 Beaver Dam Analogues, 6 rock rundown hand-built structures, and 3 engineered rock check structures to two unnamed tributaries of Lassen Creek. These tributaries to Lassen Creek flank a portion of the Hulsman Ranch property which has experienced extensive wildfire damage that caused soil instability and head-cut erosion to these Lassen Creek tributaries. These structures will promote stream channel recovery that will slow and disperse water, dissipate hydraulic energy, capture sediment, and increase soil moisture which will foster wetland plant species and arrest further wetland degradation.
