Document Description
The City of Seal Beach in cooperation with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), jointly plan to rehabilitate Seal Beach Blvd. Improvements lo the road would include mill and overlay of AC pavement and replacing the existing pavement structural section up to a depth of 20 inches. Temporary partial closures of both the 405 ramps and Seal Beach Boulevard are anticipated. This rehabilitation Project would extend the service life of the pavement, enhance ride quality, and prevent further road deterioration if repaired. No additional vehicle lanes or capacity is proposed.

As stated in Section 15301, "Class 1 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use."
