Document Description
DWR Staff will repair erosions along the South Bay Aqueduct at Dyer Reservoir. A backhoe and hand tools will be used to excavate the erosion site to remove any existing gravel or soil with poor structure around multiple erosions. Native soil is stored at the Patterson Yard stockpile location, and the backhoe will be staged to load haul trucks. Rip rap aggregate from Skinner Fish Facility will be hauled to erosion repair site. Staging and access will be via existing DWR access roads and improved lots. All work is within DWR right of way.

The State Water Project provides significant and critical services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities. The Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance as this activity will be implemented without any environmental impacts.
