Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2008-0290-R5 Amendment – A8, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Los Angeles County Flood Control District (LACFCD). LACFCD proposes to continue project activities related to the routine maintenance of 197 debris basin facilities. These activities include debris removal, tree trimming, vegetation mowing, brush clearance, entrainment channel maintenance, sediment removal, and access road maintenance. The project does not involve any additional construction or other activities, and it is limited to ongoing maintenance activities required to protect downstream property and infrastructure from potential damage caused by flooding and debris flows. The present Amendment is limited to the revision of permit conditions specific to Santa Anita Debris Basin
