Document Description
This project proposes the placement of a new, 24 feet wide by 30 feet long prefabricated storage building on a 6-inch-thick concrete slab within an existing disturbed area, approximately 40 feet wide by 60 feet long, at the CAL FIRE Red Mountain Station 10. The project will require minor grading of the site, placement of form boards and re-enforcing steel, and placement of approximately 16 cubic yards of transit mix concrete. The new building will require utility connections requiring excavation of approximately 70 feet of trench, 18 inches in depth from the existing station electrical panel to the new building. The prefabricated building will be installed by a private contractor and all other work will be performed by CAL FIRE personnel.
The CAL FIRE Red Mountain Fire Station 10 is located at 3660 E. Mission Road in the unincorporated community of Fallbrook, in the northern portion of San Diego County.
