Document Description
DWR and Contractor will conduct in-water concrete repair of submerged void within the California Aqueduct. Divers will place formwork across the void to contain concrete. Once the formwork is in place, the concrete will be continuously pumped underwater into the void. The concrete will be placed monolithically in one placement and meet the grade/slope of the adjacent liner. Any spalls and cracks observed will be repaired by mixing a two-part epoxy patching compound such as Splash Zone or similar product. The Splash Zone will be molded and hand-placed to fill cracks and spalls in the liner panels. Access, equipment staging, and work are within the DWR right of way.
