Document Description
PG&E is proposing to perform pole installation and tree removal activities along an existing electrical line in the State Route (SR) 36 right-of-way (ROW). Pole installation activities would be performed at PM 0.957 (east side of highway) in Tehama County, and 11.49 (west side of highway) in Shasta County. Tree removal activities would be performed in the immediate vicinity of the proposed pole at PM 0.957. The purpose of the project is to maintain public safety and provide reliable electric services to PG&E customers. To facilitate maintenance activities, traffic control would be performed during the proposed work. Caltrans would issue an encroachment permit to allow for the proposed work to occur within State right-of-way.
